In the interest of admitting that there’s always something new to learn, I attended the Mon Cheri Academy last week with 175 other bridal and formalwear store owners. What an awesome experience. I think the best part was the panel of designers that included Tony Bowls and Jim Hjelm. Tony is awesome, talking about where he gets his inspiration for his fabulous prom and pageant designs. Believe it or not, he says they come from watching people. He watches people everywhere. The airport. the grocery store. Tony Bowls has gotten inspiration from the way people wear clothes and pair them. How interesting is that.
